so did anyone like T Burton's Alice in Wonderland?
i just saw it - wonderful characters and animations and scenery - but very sad about the story.
i am an avid fan of the original tale and don't believe it can be improved upon, especially by stirring together narnia and avatar!
well i've always had mixed feelings about Burton's movies, there's something queasy-making to them similar to barton fink and faulty towers.

haven't seen it, tho I probably will eventually ... strangely we were just discussing this last night with someone who I think was fairly unfamiliar with the books (!) ... concluded that the books are more thought-driven than plot-driven and thus don't translate especially well (or perhaps just not easily) to the screen ... but I haven't actually seen Burton's Alice, in fact, tho his Wonka was about %90 OK (but yeah, eeeeuuuuuuwwwwwww)
